Has anyone here played this game? It's another Genny plattformer that has never made it to the west, much like Pulseman. Unfortunately I can't find any screens of this of the interweb, but the best way to describe is that it was the *cough* inspiration for Namco's Klonoa series.
You're not somehow getting Magical Hat no Buttobi Tabo Adventure mistranslated are you?
It's pretty good. I think there was another game based on the same license that wasn't a Sega game.
Magical Taluluto-kun or Magical Troll is usually how it's transliterated/translated.

Correct name is Magical Taruruuto-kun (Sega, 1992.04.24). The other one is Magical Hat no Buttobi Turbo! Daibouken (Sega, 1990.12.15). Both are superb anime-based MD games, in my opinion.
Magical Hat's Western version was bastardized and released under the name of "Decapattack". And then they ask why I take care of Japanese games only...
Everytime I see it, the title of this game seems to change.

platformers don't get much blander in the gameplay department.
Hey man, Decap-Attack is cool.
Or, it was ten years ago...
I just got this game from Sidez. It's not the greatest platformer in the world but if you can find it cheap I recommend it. The gameplay is simple and the graphics are cutesy but it's a fun game to play through. I enjoyed it for what it was.
