Being a fan of Mr. CP I'll be one of the first people to agree that there's a lot of problems with his writing. All of his books do sound and feel rather similar and every so often I do feel that he's just piling on more things that "the man" doesn't want you to know in order to appeal to a teen to mid twenties hipster demographic.
And yet, I eat it up. I find his sentences "very mezmerizing" in rhythem (as said in many quotes on the back of his books) and his one liners quite funny. They're entertaining books that have some good messages? Does he go a little overboard trying to stuff over used and obvious pop culture complaints into every page of the book? Sometimes, yes. Still, all I know is I enjoy reading his books and so that's what I'm going to keep on doing for the time being.
