The strangest yet one of the most interesting persons I've ever met, Scot Lacy (deadhead and coffee house lurker- he was a total stoner but could speak fluent Russian and German and knew a lot about hypnosis) once told a crowd, "Sometimes I think the government should require that every citizen take a THC pill. At least once." I find this a bit Big Brother for me. I understand why he said it, but I would probably fight it tooth and nail if someone tried to make new law.
However, some people disagree. How much does a drug like THC affect the mind? Is this a forcing the hand of evolution issue, or just the smoky dream of a down and out college bum like Liquid Lacy?
I have friends who have and do smoke pot occasionally. These days it's kind of a weekend thing for most of us. Therefore, it's not like I'm bashing anyone when I disagree with Lacy. I might be tempted to bash my own laxadacious and procastinating tendencies, but no one else.
Oh, and when you comment and if you agree that THC pills should be taken by everyone, please specify if you think that everyone should take it once a week, once a day, or whatever. Liquid changed his mind about this often, but he did say the magic pill should be taken once a day more than once.
EDIT: To clarify, Liquid Lacy was the nickname of Scot Lacy.
