When I get my hands on the full edition of BeOS R5, or maybe even Zeta, that'll be on my next PC, too. I miss BeOS, and I like the idea of a modern BeOS, with, you know, driver support and stuff like that. I plan on building another PC, not for my primary machine, but just because I like to use a Mac as my computer doesn't mean I don't like to tinker with PCs as a hobby... not as a necessity.

I think Grave said before that OS9 is not OS X. OS X is a completely different OS which is far more stable. You simply cannot base your opinions of Macintoshes on pre-OS X, just like its not far to base your opinion of Windows XP on Windows 98.

Honestly... you dont need any other buttons. Having the extra one is nice, and it does take advantage of it if you have one. In my experience using a Mac there wasn't a point when I was like "Shit, where's my other button?" It's just not something that comes up. Keep in mind the entire system is engineered around having one mouse button.

Having to hold shift, or apple or option or whatever other wacky key in order to make that option selection menu appear in Photoshop is a pain in the ass. Sure I could memorize the hot keys for these functions, but why bother when they're normally a single right click away? Whenever I use that one button mouse I feel as if I have been crippled.

Yes I can, since those are the ones I had experience with. When I get to try out OS X then I might change my mind.

I dont know, it comes quite handy on the PC. But not needed on Mac. Ok.

I was a pc user first, so, I just plugged my Intellimouse in. The system automatically recognized it, and it works as a command-click. I didn't even know I could command click until I was just using the touch pad. It's a non-issue.

Well, I might stop by Apple store sometime, to check it out. Or if my wife company ever upgrades their macs, and get a G5 one.
