Armed & Dangerous-Lucas Arts-Xbox-Official

I just went through the demo for the third time. I was always interested in this game, mainly because I don't want to see third-person shooters die out, but after playing the demo I think it's safe to say this will be a fine addition to anyone's Xbox collection.

The analogue control is a tiny bit sensetive and I doubt the framerate will stay locked at 30, but these are issues I won't fret about. Especially when considering the amount of action happening on-screen.

The few cut scenes they show have Planet Moon's humor stamped all over, so, for fans, this is a good thing.

This game is almost here. Anyone else looking foward to it?

By the way, for all seven of the Jet Force Gemini fans out there, well, this looks like the bastardized sequel we'll forever be waiting for.

I'm definitely picking up the PC version, it even comes with an XP-compatible Sam & Max :D Oh, and I don't think you have anything to worry about with 3rd person shooters dieing ;)

Is there a PC demo out yet?

I've been eyeing this one for a while, it looks great. What disc is the demo on?

I got mine off the OXM, which is basically worthless as a game publication, but makes for good toilet paper...

I thought there was a PC version, but wasn't positive. I'll make the correction.

I'm sure the third-person shooter genre will live a long life, but it seems harder to find quality ones. Brute Force put me to sleep, and I was hyped for that one.

Blizzard's Ghost looks awesome as well.

The demo of Armed and Dangerous is on the December OXM disc, and made me very excited about a game that I was previously pretty lukewarm to.

Does the XBox version have an XBox Sam & Max, or is it the same PC version?

This game looks like a good injection of humor into an overly serious market. The PC Gamer preview made it sound like a game that would be worth getting my hands on.

I want this game.(Plan on getting the Xbox version.) I just hope I'm not horribly disappointed. So much promise, and also alot of room to screw up. I hope they ship an infinitely playable and enjoyable game.

ChaosofNee, I believe it's an Xbox Sam and Max, which is a fantastic incentive to pre-order the game.

So, is this game falling through the cracks? Anyone else have any impressions? I'm torn between A&D, Sphinx, Metal Arms, and I-ninja. What to buy?
