Well I hear it's been released in Japan, I saw in a screen shot that the Secret Garden aspect of WA3 has been transplanted to WAACF and I saw it's brand new anime with same old good music intro. Does any one know any info on when this thing goes stateside (if it's been announced yet)? I'm getting hella stoked about this update/remake cuz it looks so tight. Any one else all worked up for it?
If and only if they keep the soundtrack, or a similar one. To this day, the Wild Arms OST never fails to impress me. It's just too bad the next two games didn't follow suit (although 3's was substantially better than the second's) . Here's hoping.Quote:

Yeah, II wasn't technically impressive. However, the writing is simply phenominal for all three. Character development and plot development were spot on for 2 and 3, and that made it worth the buy right then. Wild Arms 3 was unique in that it was fairly constricting, making it impossible for any of your characters to outclass the others. You really did need them all to be an effective fighting force.Quote:

Well the general consensus is that WA2's story while well thought out and planned, and written in Jp, it suffered a rocky translation on it's way to the US. But they were smart for WA3 and got Square Soft translators to do the job for WA3 so the story comes thru pretty well instead of sometimes having to re-read things 4 times in WA2 to grasp the meaning of what was said.

You won't have to get 3 since apparently the remake plays exactly like it, only with 1s story and characters. Hit gamefaqs for more details, though it doesn't look like its getting a US release anyway.Quote:

I do like Wild Arms Advance 3rd, but it took quite a bit for me to get into it. I remember calling it boring on these very forums ( :eek: ). Well, I retract my statement. It isn't boring. :p
Two I never finished. It just didn't do it for me. I should probably go back and try it out again, as I think the character designs are the best in the series, and I didn't pay it too much mind the first time. I'm sure it wasn't that I didn't like it, but that I didn't have the time for it. A shame really.
I really can't wait for the fourth one, now. I know nothing about it, though. Anyone have some links to decent pictures or anyhting?
I just got Wild Arms complete at Gamestop for about 15 bucks, this thread is making me bump it to the top of my "must play" list.
