Anyone keep lists? Games to buy, to finish, already finished, etc.

I've become interested in so many genres over the years and so many good games come out that I find it very difficult to keep track of what I want, what I've already finished, and what I need to finish. So I started keeping lists which I update regularly. Here's my current lists, post yours if you got 'em. I'm not going to post them, but yeah, I've got a few nicely organized text files dedicated to keeping track of what I want, and I keep my entire collection up to date on IGN.

My game library is maintained via a MSWord list, an Excel list, and an Access database.

When I'm not homeless, I have a list of "games to get" on the wall.

I've got up to date lists of all of the games I own. Well, 90% anyway. I also just started to organize a "To Buy" list. There are so many games I want to get that I often forget about them, so I figured a list would help. Plus, it feels good to cross games/dvds/etc out as I buy them.

I wish I would've kept a list of the games I've beaten. It would be interesting to see. I can't start one now because I can't remember everything I beat back in the Atari/Nes days. Hell, I can't even remember everything I've beaten for the current generation.

Damn straight. I tried that game; I sucked at it. Got stuck on one of the first levels and couldn't find a walkthrough on gamefaqs so said, "fuck it". I might go back to it some day but I doubt it.

That's alot Comp, especially the fact that you tracked every game you've finished. I have a txt file or two full of stuff to buy/finish/start. :p btw any news on the warpact?

I keep a three-tiered list of games I want, depending on how much I want them. I also keep one for the games I own and recommend.

I have a lot of lists going right now, like when my finals are, everything I need to do before I move, all the bills I have to pay, what receipts I need to keep track of, etc. But for games? Well, I try to enjoy those :)

For me, gaming is just for fun. I keep lists like this for budgets and things, but not games. It just seems like an extreme. I'm sure there's some sort of fun involve, I just can't see it.
