Conan does do sketches, but it's not primarily a sketch show. So does it count?
SNL from 1990 - 1996 - 97 would kill Mad TV.
(mad tv sucks now, it's just a bunch of people talking really loud, somehow thinking they're being funny)
I've never seen Mr.Show but i've heard good things...
The State.
And Mad TV used to be fantastic during their first two or three seasons, before the original cast started to drop out. Now it's just an empty shell.
Chappelle's Show.
always been a big fan of SNL too, even during their shitty seasons.
yeah, didn't have room for Chappelle's Show or Viva Variety... oh well.
I should substitute The Edge with Chappelle, since no one remembers that show anyway. Cracklin' Crotch in the wild west and the guy that had a baboon's buttocks?
wasn't the Edge Fox's failed attempt at a sketch show on Sunday nights around 9:30? starred Jennifer Aniston (only name i can remember) and had Plymptoons too, right? it wasn't very memorable.
Yeah, Wayne Knight was in it, too. I don't even remember Jennifer Aniston in it =O
The Plympton shorts were the best part. I just wanted to fill up all 7 slots and that's what came to mind =X
You forgot The Kids in the Hall. That's my fav.
Chappelle's Show comes in second. In Living Color was awesome early on but got stale quick.
SNL should be cancelled. It's gone to shit since it's glory days.
Man, I remember that a show existed named "The Edge" but I can't remember anything else besides that. Speaking of obscure Fox skit comedy shows, remember John Leguizamo's (sp?) "House of Buggin'"? I used to like that one a lot. Because of it, whenever I see Luis Guzman I always think of "Pretty feet, pretty feet!".
Another show was the Ben Stiller show, but I didn't care much for that.
I'll go with BUZZ. Hands down one of the funniest shows I've ever seen, but I'm lowbrow like that.
"Selling Parked Cars" = god-level comedy.
