I have a few games I have not played (esp. RPGs), but I never ever leave a game unopened. I always test them right away, even if I do not plan on getting into them at that point. What if it has a defect or problem? If it does at least I can use my receipt and exchange it. If you wait you're screwed so for me there is no reason to take that chance.

Just Sword of Mana. I used to have a few more, but I opened them yesterday, because opening games is fun. I still have a lot of PS2 RPGs that I haven't touched yet, though :( Oh, and I still have a sealed Monkey Island 4 jewel case version, need to play that bastard someday...

This has been an increasingly bad problem for me over the past year. Went through a stretch earlier this year where I played virtually no games at all, then abruptly snapped out of it and started buying up stuff left and right (mostly cheap, clearance things). As a result, I'm backlogged as all hell. Should probably look into trimming my collection a bit :(

Chaos Legion
Disgaea
Silent Hill 2
Blinx
Um... that's all I can think of for right now. Then there's games i've opened, or have gotten used, that I've never played at all. I don't want to list em all, but I got at least 50 DC games I don't even think i've played.
Then there are the games I've opened, played for an hour, and never touched em since.

Mario Tennis (N64)
Perfect Dark (N64)
Super Mario 64 (N64)
Yoshi's Island (SNES)
These were bought last summer while I was in the process of moving home, and the only reason they haven't been played yet is because I still haven't unpacked my N64 and SNES.
I've also bought Project Zero (Xbox) and Gregory Horrow Show (PS2) in the last month, but I want to finish Mario & Luigi before sinking my teeth in either. Superstar Saga deserves all my attention.

I had wondered about this kinda shit myself but I personally buy games to play em, not leave them unopened.
I can understand the want and desire to collect videogames to a point but for me it's just buy em to play em and that's it.

Just one: Magic Knight Rayearth for US Saturn. I really need to play that one soon.
