Big Bang Theory of the Universe's Begining Thrown Into Question

Also, you can't prove within reasonable doubt that the Bible, Torah or Koran are the direct words of God. Because the information passed through the brains of man and out of his hand onto papyrus/animal skin. The Bible is a secondary source, infact some of it is a tertiary source. All religions are placing a hell of a lot of trust in a lot of people that they know essentially nothing about. How do you even know those prophets were THE prophets? They could of killed the people that God was really talking to and written down anything.

As I said, when God directly sends down a Bible with linear notes, a photo & bio in the inner sleeve, and his/her signature on the cover, then we're in business. It'd be a fucking best seller!

According to the history channel's documentary, on the bible's meaning of hell and the church, they noted that @ 500 A.D. the church decided to give people hope, when they created the idea of Purgatory. The Bible always referred to Hell as a final destruction place for evil souls and Purgatory did not exist. The church created the idea of Purgatory, as a place of hope for those souls that were willing to make ammends for their wrong doings.


Sometimes you wonder how many times they change the rules of religion, yet no one calls foul when that happens.

Actually, some people did call foul on the purgatory issue... it's called the Protestant Reformation.

I have never been a big fan of the big bang theory. I mean, a giant planet that simply exists exploding to create the universe is just as believable as the universe simply existing.
