Yeah, it starts off slow... Come to think of it, it is a bit of a slow-paced RPG at times. I still really enjoyed it though. Suck up the first few hours and it'll improve a lot over collecting those damn scales.

I think I got to some pit or something. Maybe an excavation site, and I think I got the rock star guy and then went into some mansion, and by then I was fed up because I just didn't care what was going to happen to any of the characters.

Darius? Yeah, he was a total pain in the ass to fight. There's a really nice trick to beating him though. Took me plenty of deaths to devise. That was such a damn fine fight. Allocating for so long beforehand was kinda tricky, and took a bit longer than I would have liked, but I managed to win without too much trouble once I got the system perfected. CC had great potential for battle if you took advantage of everything.

DAMMIT. Now I really want Break/Brake now...

I enjoyed what I played of CC, but never got around to finishing it. I really have to get back into it again one of these days and finish going through it, I owe the sequel to Trigger that much at least. :)

Chrono Cross was one of the only 3D RPGs I managed to complete. Oh and it's not supposed to be Chrono Trigger. I just thought I'd point out that they have different names to indicate two separate titles.

Cross was also not a typical sequel in the fact that it was more of a sub-story. A sequel usually takes place after the course of the first. That's why sequels to Trigger can be so interesting if the direction is taken in the right direction. Much like Cross did for me.
