The only GC game I got that doesn't support progressive scan is Monkey Ball 1 (this is very sad)Quote:

Yes Wavebirds rule, but only because Nintendo set up to have them sell like hot-cakes by making the GC controller cables 4 inches long.
My Xbox controllers will reach across the street, and have the "pull out" feature that drives all the kids crazy.
Here is the skinny: Xbox is more powerful, Gamecube is more powerful, it doesn't matter. Sure Xbox games look better with all their graphical effects. Sure gamecube games (without the effects) running on Xbox would have higher frame-rates. Sure KB posted facts and figures skewed in a specific direction. It doesn't matter. Which system has the games you like? Play that one.
This whole thread reeks of "Let me explain how my girlfriend is pretty in my eyes..."
PS: I could write the same such article about how Dreamcast is more "powerful" than PS2, but its the same fuzzy math that makes Jaguar 64-bit. Just say the architecture of Gamecube produces a visual experience you enjoy more and be done with it. "More powerful" is a pointless title unless it is used in a way that adds value to you. My Xbox is "more powerful" because of its great sound and great lighting and great controller. Dig?
Don't want to get your xbox pregnant after a night of hard lemonade do we?Quote:

Also I'd recommend anyone that doesn't fucking have one yet to pick up a GC VGA cable. The lovely and talented Matt of this board makes em for like $55
