Mzo, just to let you know - I have begun playing Dogfight mode now!
I played the living bejesus out of this at first.
I quit when I realized that everyone but me sucked :( Then the next time I played I had forgotten the controls. Wah Wah~
I work the late shift so if any of you are on and want some dogfight action, I'll probably be on anytime after midnight central time tomorrow night --er ( looks at clock) I mean tonight, till whenever . Holla!
so i jump online for the first time last night, pick the piranah and everyone bitches at me. i was a "cheap ass bitch". i take it that plane isnt liked much? i just noticed that everybody used the same plane so i just wanted to be different.
Yeah, that plane has a lightning attack that severely hampers other players' controls. If they crash into a building and die w/full health, you get the kill.
The only people that bitch about it are those who suck ass at the game and look for any excuse to blame their sad skills on. Sl1p is, for the most part, right. Most people just suck ass. I had a good dozen people on my buddy list that could compete with me for 1st place in dogfighting (never cared much for rank...) but by now I've taken them all off and all I have are TNLers.
But if someone invites me, probably while I'm playing Geometry Wars (don't be fooled by that PGR 2 Single Player crap Live tells you), I'll hop on.
I'll be on most of the day today, and hell most of the next couple of weeks.
Our local EB is having a CS tourney, and bygawd I wanna WIN!

True. That can be a fun mode provided you're playing with competent players. But beyond that, it remains a highly annoying plane that's predominantly used by newbies. Skilled players will opt for other, more "respectable" planes. :)Quote:
