Top 15 (like Yoshi, no series):
#15. Crazy Taxi (Dreamcast) - Just a great game to waste countless hours trying to beat your best score. I made over $40,000 once, with 96 people delivered about. Never beat that since.
#14. Sega Rally (Saturn) - Played this game to death. It just felt soooo right, I've never felt another racing game handle as well for me.
#13. Virtua Fighter 2 (Saturn) - Keep in mind I haven't played 4 or Evolution yet. But VF2 was a revolution back then. The AI wasn't stupid, and I used to have some heated games with friends.
#12. Burning Rangers - I still love this game, and wish for an updated game on Xbox online with head set compatability. The possibilities are endless!
#11. Streets of Rage 3 - Yeah, that's right. SoR 3! The only thing SoR 2 has over this game is the music. Everything else: graphics, gameplay and control, this game is better.
#10. Shinobi 3 - Best Ninja game of it's generation. Arguably ever.
#9. Jet Set Radio Future - It was a damn hard choice between the two. But the bigger world, larger selection of characters, and 60fps graphics pushed it over the edge. Plus the gameplay revisions didn't affect me at all.
#8. Skies of Arcadia - Wonderful, wonderful adventure. Everything about this game (except for the numerous battles) was quality.
#7. Phantasy Star Online - Any version, really. I played the original DC version, then went on to the GC version, and now I went and bought the Xbox version. I don't know why I do this to myself.
#6. Shenmue - One of the most moving soundtracks ever, and a memorable storyline with some of the best graphics of its time. Only surpassed by its sequel.
#5. Panzer Dragoon Orta - My God, what a beautiful game. These are some of the best graphics this generation, and the best Sega has done, outside of F-Zero. I love anything Panzer, and the improved gameplay puts it way above the previous two shooters.
#4. Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Yes, this is my fav Sonic game. This was just so epic for its time. The length was extended, the three character to choose from, and one of my favorite Sonic soundtracks of all time. 'Nuff said.
#3 NiGHTS into Dreams - Almost gameplay perfection. How I wish just for an update, maybe under Sega Ages or something. Anything to enjoy some new NiGHTS experience. Note to Naka: don't make a totally new game. Just update the graphics and add new levels. That's all I ask.
#2. Shenmue 2 - Second best Sega Adventure/RPG game ever. Everything Shenmue is, and a lot more.
#1. Panzer Dragoon Saga - Panzer rules all. This game was a revelation to me, with total speach throughout the game, great graphics for its time, and a battle system that has yet to be copied (besides a little bit in PDO). All this besides my favorite storyline in any game, ever. We NEED another RPG in this most intriguing world.
I had it on my list, but then I had to close the window, and I'm not typing that shit again.Quote:
