I was thinking. Capcom seems to only throw SF fans a bone every once in a while and with the poor anniversary item that came out (the SF2 aniv.) I am left wondering. Should SF go out with a bang or just fade away?
If it went out with a bang I would love to see some kind of enormous compelation that Had like every version of the game (SF2, SFa/z, SF3) compiled into one and had a groove/ratio system to balance it out. Like SFA2 Ken (With a SF3 groove) VS SF2:T Ryu (With a SFA3 Xism mode) or something crazy like that. Just some ultimate compelation of all the BGs, Stage BMs, Grooves and Characters that you could mix and match. It would probably never get boring to play and there would most likely be an extreamly large list of top teir characters.
Or if they wanted it to fade, they should never attach the SF name to anything else ever. Just have perhaps Ryu in another fighter. Or build some kind of 3rd Person platformer with Ryu where in 10 years kids won't even know that Ryu was a fighting game character. I don't know, but just let it die if you going to, I hate these bones that they throw.
Or hell my favorite option: make SF4 already.
What do you think? Which do you want to happen or what can your twisted mind come up with?
