Batman info and partial script review

i think this design (on the cover) of batman is my favorite. dunno why.

And, yes, big artistic liberty, done solely to justify killing the Joker, I would think.

And, I wouldn't say that the murder of his parents made him specifically become The Batman. Don't get me wrong, he would have been some vigilante or something, but the way that it was explained in Year One and the first 6 or so issues of Legends Of The Dark Knight give a few clear reasons why he became "The Batman" and not "The Catman", not the least of which is that Catman would be flamingly gay.

Its the international version while we get the emo one.

They're both pretty emo to me. The international one looks like a scene from an Evanescence video or something. But it is better than the other one.

I say they should give Bruce Timm and Paul Dini a bunch of money to make an animated Bats movie with the animation fluidity of a summer Disney flick and the freedom of a PG-13 rating. It would still cost way less than live action and the result would be way better. Not that I think this is going to turn out bad, but my main thing is that a guy in a batsuit looks kinda hokey in live action no matter what you do.
