I also loved the ending which was almost the same as Frank Millers Batman:Year One. I think it would be cool if the sequel played out like a murder/mystery since Batman is the worlds greatest detective.
Well, Nolan said in an interview that if it was up to him, his only choice for the role of Joker would be Steve Buscemi I could see that.Quote:

Oh, and besides the "Swear to me!" line, I liked : "DO I LOOK LIKE A COP?!"
I also think this movie worked so well because instead of focusing on a certain villlians' origin, it focused on the one character in the Batman mythos who has the most interesting story to tell.Batman himself. I dont think ANY of the earlier movies focused on that aspect nearly enough. Hopefully, the sequel will follow suit and still keep the focus on Wayne and not his arch enemies.
Actually, I could too. That or the "McFly guy" from Back to the Future would both be decent choices. Heres some rumors I found at DH on who they say the Joker will be:Quote:

Well, 'Superagent' comes forward today with a scoop that'll hopefully quieten down some of the BS:
"I wanted to clear up a few things that I've been reading about the casting of the 'NEXT' Batman movie. It's an unfair situation - but this how these things work, ok....
They're not letting any unknowns test for the villains of the next movie. NO official casting has begun, ONLY the odd meeting. They will be looking at securing names AFTER the release of Begins.
Christian Bale was/is enough of a gamble ("Reign of Fire" and "Equilibrium" made about a buck combined!), so, like this one, Warner are surrounding him with 'famous' faces. They've got their wish-list, and that's it. This guy, Lachy Hulme, it sounds like his people are pushing him more than Warner wants him - an unlikely chance, same with Crispin Glover, whose agent (not surprised) is pushing him ON Warner.
I've tried to get through to the powers-that-be that there's a couple of great actors on my agency's books that they should consider, but have been told by an exec there that it isn't worth pushing, because they have their wish-list, and it's got 'NAME ONLY' imprinted on it.
Honestly though, there's nothing, no-one really being considered at the moment....Mark Hamill's name has been casually mentioned due to his huge popularity in the cartoons as The Joker. Robin Williams, Sandler....your usual suspects"
I like Adamn Sandler, but no way in hell I'd want him playing Joker. Robin Williams and Mark Hamill were interesting choices though...
Robin Williams would be decrepit and terrible.
Mark Hamill could be awesome.
I read on movies.com 40 things you should know about batman, that Robin Williams was offered the part of the joker in the original one, but it was only to put pressure on Jack Nicholson cause he was unsure if he wanted the part. I guess later Williams was offered the part of the riddler but refused. Honestly the only villian I could see him playing is Mad Hatter.
Also another name I heard up for the joker part is Tim Roth, and Sandler would make me cry.
Mark has the voice( Hell he made the voice :P) for Joker, but not the look. They need a young guy like christian Bale if it's old school psycho Joker or a phsyical intimidating guy if it's the new "The Batman" Joker.
I really, really, hope Robin Williams does not play the Joker. I would rather have Adam Sandler than Robin Williams.
I think Mark Hamill could be awesome. I also think Steve Buscemi would be a good choice. Crispin Glover looks the part imo.
BRAAAAANK that does not exist, never mention it here again.Quote:
