Truthfully, I am less worried about the actors than I am about the writing. If this movie can get more people reading the source material, I'm for it. And, hey, Europeans used to portray Asians in film all the time, so I guess sandy-haired living dolls can portray dark, wavy-haired, cold-blooded Greek warriors. At least Pitt can act.
I haven't seen a movie where Pitt sucked so he will.

The film is getting closer to release and I'm looking forward to it now that I've seen alot more about it. Hell I have a sig for it!
I was actually surprised that they made it rated R, instead of more audience friendly PG13.
I guess we can expect some bloody Greek battles. Or at least I hope that it has them :p

If anyone making movies in Hollywood deserves an Oscar, it is Russell Crowe. One can make the argument that he didnt deserve one for Gladiator, but he certainly did for LA Confidential and The Insider. And he probably deserved one for Master & Commander or A Beautiful Mind either.Quote:

He may be little more than a street thug off-camera, but on-camera he is probably the best actor in movies today.
This movie opens this weekend and I think it looks to be one of the better movies of the Summer months. Hopefully I'm right... I thought Helsing looked good from the previews too.
