anyone having the gaul to say that current first-party game controllers are 'the worst' suffer from either a poor lack of gaming history or have easily spotted prejudices.
that said the super-large X-Box controller is a f-ing joke. the s-controller isn't much better with indented black/white buttons by your palm. that ergonomic feat could only be topped by jury-rigging controller buttons on the controller wire itself.
Yeah, I don't care for the face buttons on the original Xbox controllers, but it's hardly what I'd call crap.
The Super Action Controller for the Colecovision is the biggest pile of overpriced shit to ever hit retail. The trigger buttons would stick and even the controller would make a large popping noise, because it would stick during angled moves.

The Super Scope works incredibly well and has good accuracy. I don't like how big it is but that's my only complaint.
Doesn't have much place on the PSX, but there are PC FPSers that still swear by the thing. They're pretty cool actually, but only meant for certain kinds of games (basically just FPS). The ball doesn't actually move, it just detects which way it's being pushed or twisted. It's analog, 6 degrees of movement. It's derived from an old controller used as a 3D pointer for CAD apps.Quote:
