Every now and then I think I've grown an immunity to fear in movies, then something like one of these comes out and reminds me why I haven't.
And I agree on Return to Oz. Those wheelchair goons kept me awake for days back when I was 6; and the collection of heads *shudder*
Ok, Lets see. Most of horror films never bother me, except for a few:
Event Horizon
Prince of Darkness
Poltergeist 3
Exorcist 3 (man, one scene is friggin heart stopper :))
The first time I saw Kubrick's 'The Shining' I was like 7 or 8, back when it first came on HBO in '80 or '81. Room 237 with the lady in the tub, the axe to the chest scene, the ghosts in the ballrooms, the two little girls, "Come and play with us Danny... Forever, and ever... and ever...", 'Redrum'... Good stuff... Jack Nicholson rules.
I still like that movie a lot, I just have to make sure I make it through the first 40 minutes without falling asleep.
I've been meaning to see this because people keep bringing it up, but the video store i rent from only has it on VHS. :yuck: Is it worth it?Quote:

I was about 13 years old, when HBO had Friday the 13th showing. I was at the house alone and had never seen a movie with blood and gore like it. Every creek of the house had me jumping.
When I was about 5 years old, my parents took us to a movie at the drive in. I can't recall the name of the movie, but it had a whole town of devil whorshiper's in it. Our house was near a forest and the nearest house was about a mile away. I did'nt sleep too well that night.
For a slightly more serious reply. The Ghoulies scared the crap into me when I was a kid. I was terrified to use a toilet for years.
I honestly can't think of any others.
