Blade: Trinity- official thread

Well, shooting just wrapped on the third Blade movie, so I thought I'd start the official thread while we're counting down the time to the film's release.

I know the release date is in August 13th, but the last time I started a thread early (FvJ) that turned out pretty well, so here goes. :)

Anyway, now that we're in the post-production phase, I'm sure info and pics will begin leaking shortly. To start with is a really good, albeit short, interview with the director, David Goyer. He gives much praise to the performance and work ethic of wrestler Triple H, and confirms that Wesley Snipes is a big pain in the ass to work with.

Also, keep in mind that Jessica Biel is playing Whistler's daughter in this one, and if she looks as half as hot as she did in the Texas Chainsaw remake, I'm there. Hopefully Blade: Trinity will have the grittier feel of the beyond-awesome first movie (one of my all-time favs) as opposed to the slightly more 'comic-booky' feel of the otherwise good sequel.

More cool camera effects and gothy sets ala the first movie.

Less rassilin moves ala the second.

I really enjoyed the first two, I'll have to catch it if it's still in theaters when I get back from boot-camp.

Definately one of most anticipated movies of this year. Always been a huge Blade fan, and loved both previous films.

Can't wait to see the trailer.

I'm all about Blade. It'l be interesting to see how Goyer directs...if it's as good as the first 2 we'll have another great movie trilogy on our hands.

Woah. I wonder if Snipes and Goyer will do another commentary track together on the Blade 3 DVD? Guess not. ;)

The first two installments were great. I can't wait until this one comes out.

I'm am extremely excited for this movie. Yeah.

Another interview with Goyer at AICN- this one is REALLY in-depth and gives all sorts of info about Blade 3. This movie sounds damn good.
