I just started FFXI last night.

It has ass controls for a PC game. SWG's controls are 10x better.

Aside from that, not bad.

Mzo, you really need this.

I can't play the game with the keyboard, but it plays perfectly with the Dual Shock 2.

Target/control menus with the d-pad, move with the left analog stick, camera with the right analog stick, and the other twelve useable buttons let you control just about everything else.

If you don't want to use a PS2 controller, then at least do this... never use the mouse. Go all keyboard, I hear that works out alright (but you don't get any analog movement of course).

Damn, you have to buy the 50 game, pay for a subscription, and then get an accessory to get the best control out of the game - for heavens sake. The only way i could see myself trying out FFXI is when they hopefully make the client downloadable. Money is tight thesedays.

Damn, to get the best control out of Pop'n Music, I have to buy a $250 controller. F**k that game.
