I seem to be in the minority, but I quite enjoyed it. Check out Crazy mode, and the alternate character is kinda cool...

Update!
Just finished FF7 [for the first time] so ...
PSOne: 1 left [SoTN]

Hall of Shame - 1
Thanks Vic!
bump, so far I should have 13 titles in the hall of fame :D thanks in advance.
Here's my list, based off of games I consider that I currently onw. (Doesn't include all of my old games for previous systems that I have no interest in touching ever again.) The number in parenthasies is the total amount of games that I have, for comparison.
PSX: 12(31)
PS2: 9(16)
Xbox: 6(10)
DC: 77(100)
GBA: 5(8)
77 dreamcast games? Holy fuck. Better get started on that, buddy.
I'm really close to finishing something, it'll be another day or two, probably.
It's not that big a deal, I had more DC games to finish then any console. I have 52 DC games, they're cheap :D
Fully updated.
I've made no progress whatsofreaking-ever. Blame World of Warcraft, and a new work project.
I've spent the last few days playing Lone Wolf. Nerdicus maximus. Someone tell me how to kill that #@$@ gnaag helghast in the jungle of horrors fairly :P
For those of you wondering, yes, Masaka is STILL slaving away on the Warpact webpage. It's turned out to be (surprise!) a bigger task than we originally envisioned, but it is coming together, one piece at a time.
Not a lot of recent releases that I've been super interested in (which is good, given my remaining pile of shame). I put some heavy hours into Arc 2, but I sorta stalled out (and then the aforementioned WoW etc). I'll probably give Onimusha 3, Transformers, and Custom Robo rentals. I'd get La Pucelle, but since I haven't finished Disgaea (or any of my other huge mound of strat rpgs :P) I have no business picking it up. Speaking of which, I got the FM4 demo cd... I still haven't finished FM3 - now THAT is just sad :P
Good fun anyhow. Keep carrying the torch folks!
Score!!! I finished Skies of Arcadia (DC) today. A wonderful game that was ultimately ruined by a shitty encounter rate (and a few other minor, yet horribly irksome flaws). If I ever play it again, it'll be the GC version only, so it goes in the ebay pile.
I'm also selling Breath of Fire II (SNES). I have no desire to play it, but if for some reason I want to in the future, I'll just get the GBA version.

Oooo! OOO! I'm a huge fucking Lone Wolf geek, and I have the answer you seek:Quote:

Luckily you can bypass Tharro itself. Take the highway route, and when you get to the entrance, just don't show the guard your pass. He won't let you in, and you'll advance to the next event after the town. Keep in mind you can't get the Grey Crystal Ring this way.
If you think the Helghast is hard, wait until you get to book 11.
Yeah um, I got to that part in book 9, and I think I'm fucked :/ 33 CS and Zakhan Kimah is immune to Mindblast, so that puts me at an absolutely ludicrous disadvantage.
I never realized that using the Summerswerd made the fights more difficult, but it should have been obvious in retrospect - it assumes you've picked up other crap along the way, but it doesn't seem very well balanced.
Am I going to have to start the whole series over again to work my way up to that point? I also didn't realize you could store items. I could have at least tossed some Alether into storage on the way here. Would have helped when I lost by backpack on the way out of Kazhad-Oun also. I don't really like using foreknowledge that way, but I don't see any other good way to get around this, without cheating on the starting CS score (something I didn't want to do).
Come to think of it, I was pretty lucky to find the Silver Helm along the way, but even with Summerswerd, Silver Helm, Shield, Weaponmastery, and Fire circle, I'm still way underpowered compared to his monster. Even with Alether he'd still be too strong.
Bah! Fantastic books though, project aon rules beyond belief :) I still have my stack of books tucked away in a box, but now I don't need them. Statskeeper is great.
Talk about offtopic. Updated your totals ;)
Thanks Vic, I had to let go SoTN for now since i passed the PSX to a friend. I'll try and finish the remaining games on the DC for now. tnx for the update.
