I locked myself in my room for the past 2 days, in hopes of finishing FF IV Chronicles.

And I did. More power to me.

Victrix has been sulking about TNL like a whiny livejournal poster, but rather than doing it publicly on TNL (more than once), he has been avoiding TNL almost entirely for some time.

I did beat Nethack and Adom. While those most certainly were not on my Pile of Shame, beating them both is an epic achievement, a Goliath defeated, a Fully Operational Battlestation constructed. Yes really, that big.

I now have on my pile - all of my previous crap, PLUS a new batch of leftovers from the holidays (blessedly few, I rampaged through a host of games around xmas), and a tiny few new titles (not on my pile, but just stuff to play - eg, DMC3)

Gigawing Generations comes out this month too...

And while I utterly detest being That Guy Who Talks About An Incomplete Website, Masaka and I _still_ talk about warpact.com (registered, prototyped, some backend coded, &c), but time has become such a precious commodity that work of that nature is shelved indefinitely.

I'll make an effort to monitor this thread more closely though, it is still important for those who carry the bright banner of completion against the vile forces of shame.

I am not Opaque, although I'm sure he wishes he were me. SKygunner was fun, and I bought more games since I made the pact list, but I'll keep my original list and then add my shame games. I'm one or two missions from the end of DMC3. Great, great game, I'm liking it more than Ninja Gaiden.

Two more for me since my last post. Super Mario RPG and Breath of Fire IV. I chose the bad ending in BoF4 since I had played it for over 50 hours and the random battles had destroyed my patience with the game, even with the reduced-encounters accessory equipped. I just wanted to get it over with. So I sided with the bad guy and slaughtered my own party. The end.

Right now, I'm working on Lunar 2 off-and-on, but it's starting to get on my nerves as well. FFTA and GensPlus are taking up the rest of my gaming time. I just discovered that by playing Gens in windowed mode, I get less lag with my Magic Box, so I'm having some fun with Genny/MD/SMS stuff.

I also sold three games from my PS1 pile. Good fucking riddance.

Oho! Yes, that makes more sense :D

I'm loving DMC3, but I don't think it's a 'more than NG' kind of thing. I like it a _lot_ though, and if it's got replayability, I suspect it will get some love. I've dumped more time into NG than any other action game ever though, so it has a tough bar to reach.

Tell me there's some sort of battle arena mode? I just want to go and kick ass with the various styles and practice my insane combos.

In an effort to grasp PS love, I had a game of PS4 running for a fair amount of time. Decent, not advanced, and not enough to hold my interest - though I did make it a good way through the game.

Games getting on nerves... that'd be Arc 2 for me, out of my last pile of shame attempt. Though I must say, my patience for jrpg cliches is wearing mighty, mighty, mighty thin.

This is happening for me soon. Some of the srpgs on my pile are damn good, and deserve to be played. Others, I don't even know why I own them. A few, they're just too brutal to finish (FM3 comes to mind). I'm also trimming out some fat from my current gen systems. Not too many, but a handful of games I just didn't get a ton of enjoyment out of, so not really worth finishing.

To my annoyance/depression, PC games aren't really an issue. I've beaten (and played the hell out of) pretty much every major PC game I have the faintest interest in - and there aren't enough new *good* ones to result in any significant pile of shame buildup. That's bad, for a lot of reasons.

On the upshot, there are still so many fantastic replayable multiplayer PC titles, this isn't really an issue. Yet :/
