Many many great Dreamcast games in the mix I'd love to finish. I've been playing with it alot more but now that Gaiden's in the way, my next 10 years are booked.

Has anyone here played Arc 2 much? If so, do you know if you can go back and hunt wanted monsters that you missed later, or are certain bounties one time only?
well... I'll try damnit... but it's hard when there are new things to play... I mean even if I dwindel the orignal stack all the way down, I will have a pile still... so it kinda seems like cheating to not add things that are actually being added to it...Quote:

More to the point, this isn't supposed to be a record of new games you beat. It's a record of all the half finished, unopened, unplayed, forlorn games that you've had sitting on a shelf for the last six months/ten years.
It has also (for me at least), made me seriously reevaluate what games I purchase, and what I enjoy playing. I've played through some pretty nifty games I might not have touched otherwise, and struggled through some truly ghastly games to get them off the pile. Why waste the effort to beat something cruddy? To make damn sure I think twice before buying a game I'm not 100% about in the future. Ultimately, the Warpact comes down to enjoying games. Really giving them the time they deserve. What's the point of buying books and never reading them, records and never listening to them, dvds and never watching them? Seems sorta silly. Seems REALLY silly in the case of games.
I'm a lot more picky because of the Warpact, and I've also found some nifty games I wouldn't have otherwise, been able to share the fun of a gem, and I've also ruthlessly trimmed down my collection, both in what I keep, and in what I purchase.
But to be completely clear - if you want to buy new games, go for it. But they don't get added. Remember you can always remove games without beating them. Just sell them, give them away, trade them in, etc. No Hall of Fame credit, but they come off your Pile of Shame.
Yeah, I'd rather be honest and post a bunch of stuff I really want to finish, then add a bunch of titles i've already been through just to +x my pile of fame.
I think that I screwed up...
I bought Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.... It is such an excelent game that it has eaten up the last 10 hours of my gaming time. I feel sorry for anyone who will never have the oppertunity to play this game.
This paired with FF:Crystal Chronicals makes up for me not eliminating anything. I am selling off alot of stuff now because of the warpact :)

Surprisingly good game so far. Much better than Arc1, and a pretty good mix of rpg and srpg. Looks like you're right about at least the jobs, I know I've missed a few so far (doh!). Not that I know if it even matters ;) I've even flubbed a few of them.
One thing that kinda sucks is that the story really steamrolls you along (or at least, it has been for a long while now), and I haven't had a chance to return to several important areas (notably the smiths), so I haven't had a chance to upgrade a mound of equipment. Nor have I had a chance to return to the monster trainer or the lab, so I haven't been able to upgrade my monsters, or share the 2489324 XP sitting on Diekbek.
You can use Arc Arena to access all of that, but that sorta feels like cheating ;)
Rather grim story so far, and quite long. I've still got at least three more generals and an Ultimate True Power to confront before I put this one down. Fun so far though, outside the level problems from importaing characters from Arc. The Lieza section just sucked - all my monsters were underleveled. I had similar problems when the other characters met up, but I've closed the gap to within ten levels for all of my characters, and if I ever get to use the monster or diekbek xp, that should fix the rest of it.
+ 4 Fall of Fame
- 4 Hall of Shame
I decided to wait a few days so i could include all of them together. I recently finished:
Max Payne (PC)
Max Payne 2 (PC)
Metal Gear Solid the Twin Snakes (GC)
Tsuganai: Atonement (PS2)
Lord of the Rings: the Two Towers (GC)
I did both max payne's back to back, and metal gear doesn't count since i bought it recently. I was at the breached wall in the lord of the rings since december, but forgot about it. Damn fine game, can't wait to get Return of the King. I will never play Tsuganai again.
Yoiks! Nice haul.
I was pretty underwhelmed by MP2 - it felt like MPAgain ;)
