My father's a doctor, and he used to work in the ER when he was younger... I've heard stories worse than this.

He even had a child who swallowed half his hot-wheels car collection to keep his brother from playing with them.

I remember I read Howard Stern's book Private Parts and in it is a section where he talks about things found in people's asses in emergancy rooms that he read about in actual medical journals. Some things, like a full bottle of Aunt Jemima syrup were fucked up enough, but the guy that let his lover fill up his ass with cement and let is harden was beyond nuts. When it hardened, the guy was in so much pain that he was rushed to the hospital where they dilated his ass and had to chip the cement out. :wtf:

That's probably the biggest "WTF" in medicine. The things people put in their butt...you'd think that keeping things out of there the most basic human instinct. I remember seeing an Xray of a flashlight...yikes.

This thread reminded me of a scene from Jackass: The Movie where Ryan Dunn sticks a toy car up his rectum and leaves it there for a couple days. After obtaining some X-Rays from a doctor he shit the car back out. :yuck:

My problem with our healthcare system is that it spends time and effort saving these people.
