Third Strike is the only Capcom "effort" any serious 2D fighting fan even remotely gives two shits about. If you've seen the screenshots for Capcom's "new" 2D fighter you'd realize it's just going to be more of the same rehashed bullshit. SNK.....is SNK....nothing they make is going to get game of the year. Guilty Gear has a fairly large cult following, but nothing more.

Nothing is going to top DOAU this generation unless Namco pulls an ace out of their ass with Tekken 5, but the likelyhood of seeing that title this year is slim.
