Shuttle PC's
I need some of your expertise here. I'm currently using an AMD 550 w/384Mb on Win98. I'm considering one of these shuttle comp's, but I don't know what the hell I'm doing. They say they are barebone, does this mean they don't come with a processor or ram? Probably no operating system too right? If someone could just get me started or give some opinions on these little systems I would appreciate it a lot.

Shuttle XPCs only come with a motherboard, the case, a power supply and the necessary cables. The rest you've got to provide.
If you're looking for a good Shuttle, I can recommend the SN45G. It's got a NForce2 chipset in it, and has given me little trouble. As for other stuff, these shops should be able to set you up:
http://www.mwave.com/
http://www.excaliberpc.com/ <- usually has some kind of Shuttle equipment bundle
http://www.newegg.com/
If you have any other questions, just yell.
