Energy Drinks - Who uses em?

A friend of mine swears by Bacchus. I could never find it, and I can't find the new one in cans either.

Thai Red Bull is awesome, though, in the little glass bottles. It's not carbonated, and it's kind of syrupy. Haven't been able to get it recently, but I used to be able to get either an 8 pack or 10 pack (can't quite recall) for $9-something at C-mart in Chinatown. It was awesome.

Well 20 calories per can compared to something like 220 per is definitely better but I'd assume it's not the best thing I could put in my body. :|

Yea, and I imagine the stuff is sweetened with artificaly sweeteners, which are far worse for your body than an extra 200. I would try to kick the habbit man. I guarentee that if you don't drink those for a while, you'll feel exactly like you do before class with the 2 rockstars, even though you haven't drinken them. Its just like cigarettes, you adapt, and they don't give you a "feeling" anymore, they just make you feel normal.

It's not so much that I "feel" different during class it's that I'm awake. Getting 5 or less hours of sleep and trying to stay awake in a boring as hell class isn't that easy. And it's not like I drink these every day, I've only got morning class 2 days a week.

Why are you even trying to justify yourself to that turd?

Oh, when I originally read it, I thought you said you drink 2 everyday before class, which astonished me. I have a tendency (read: everyday) to fall asleep in class, and I'm sure energy drinks would help, but I don't want to go down that road.

Energy drinks make me feel funny, I will just sleep a couple of extra hours a night, thank you very much. I did used to love the shit out of Hydroxy Cut, the old one with the ephedra in it. I had tons of energy and I lost 20 pounds on one month. I miss ephedra. :(
