Trivial Pursuit: UNHINGED

Ok so, I got Trivial Pursuit Unhinged (TPU) for Xbox today.

There is Live support, but I didn't try it yet. When you play Unhinged mode, Bill Nye, Whoopie Goldberg, Brooke Burke, John Ratzenberger(?), and Terry Bradshaw ask all of the questions. You can also do crazy shit like stomping on other people, and stealing their pieces and what not.

Then there's Classic mode which is just like the board game, OG style.

I have no idea what Flash mode is.

So far, the questions seem a little on the easy side, but not terribly so. One question involved Mick Foleys book "Christmas Chaos" which I thought was pretty fuckin' cool.


I think the TNL peeps will bitch about the shitty camera though.

Trivia Pursuit was better back when it was 2D. *yawn*

The XB live support sounds nich, since nobody I know will ever play Trivial Pursuit with me anymore since I pwn them left and right. :(

Too bad I canceled my Live. :(

Are the answers all multiple choice though? That I don't really like.

Bill Nye and Cliff the mailman.. heh. If I had a Xbox I'd rent it at least.

For the benefit of the Xbox-lackeys who haven't asked it: New questions over Live when the questions shipping with the game get old? That's the only way I can see the game having any shelf-life.

Any game with Bill Nye is worth playing. How do you input answers, is it multiple choice?

I saw this at work tonight and it caught my eye. I almost took it home for a good ol' go-round, but I ended up buying I-Ninja, so it would have just sat there, watching me kick Ranx ass.

Maybe I'll give it a shot in a few days. How much was it?

To answer you choos either "Shout Out" mode, or multiple choice. If you play shout out mode, the question comes up, you say the answer, press A, the right answer comes up on the screen, and one of the other players presses A if you got it right, or B if you got it wrong. On XBL you use headsets for that mode, and I doubt that I would trust anyone to actually press A when I get right answers, so I doubt I'll be playing that with anyone I don't know.

Yeah, I see REAL problems with that way of doing things... of course, I'd like to think that the type of people who would play this online would be a bit less inclined to cheat.

What was the price on this? If it was cheap, it might be fun to pick up. If not, I've still got too many games that I still haven't purchased.
