The hell? Did they have a contest over at Nintendo to come up with the most random developer for them to partner up with?

'Cause if they did, somebody definitely won their department a pizza party with this one.

Can this really be considered "1st party" if the game is being made by a crappy 3rd party dev team that was recently dragged under Nintendo's wing?

Scary, but I think you're right. >_< Poor Mario...

considering their development history, I'd call them a half party.

IGN posted a rumor saying that the developer has signed a deal with Konami to bring a Castlevania game to the Cube as well.

They'll fuck it up somehow. Connectivity application being the first way they'll do it. But then again maybe not, thus negating the point of this post.
