This list consists of the few arcade games I've played in the few years I went to arcades (haven't been to one in years), and since I hate fighting games, well there you go. I played these games endlessly, and loved them.

The way I look at it, even the shittiest 2D game is waay better than any 3D platformer or FPS nonsense.

Here's a question. Was Super Mario an arcade game first, or did it arrive on the Famicom, before it came to arcades?

I remember the first time I played Super Mario, it was at a Peter Piper Pizza in Phoenix. This was'nt a players choice machine and had all the official decals and overhead banner. The US, NES only had Duck Hunt and Rob the Robot at the time.

That being said:

1 - Super Mario (The reason I bought a NES)

2 - Centipede (Atari was great back then)

3 - Asteroids

4 - Gauntlet ( Who did'nt enjoy the 4 player mayhem of this game?)

5 - Galaga (Who did'nt love this game back then? One of only 2 arcade games my wife admits to like playing.)

6 - Street Figher II: Hyper Fighting

7 - Pac-man ( This game represented arcade gaming in the 80's )

8 - Donkey Kong ( Who is this company called Nintendo? I did'nt know at the time, but this game sure sucked up a ton of my quarters.)

9 - Outrun

10 - Road Blaster ( A cool idea, using an old formula of time, kept through keeping your gas tank full.)

Famicom first, I'm almost certain. It sounds like you played the VS. Unisystem version.

After doing a search, I found that it is indeed the Vs. version of the game, that I played. Here's the arcade flyer for it.
