Ugly graphics but I can live with it. It sounds like a fun game overall, and if the character responds properly to what you want him to do and the camera is properly controllable then I'm good with it.
Liefield blows, hard. Eric Larson on Savage Dragon, on the other hand, is a much better artist than he looks. I've no idea when that series went from curiosity about Image comics (back in the day) to a monthly guilty pleasure.
I love a good threadjack. :)

I'd be surprised if a publisher took a risk on this game with visuals like this, because gameplay doesn't sell games. Heck, even games with good visuals like Beyond Good and Evil can't make it in the market. It needs not only slick visuals but also a strong ad campaign if the developer ever hopes to make back those six years of effort.
I'll buy it for the gameplay, but 99% of the people who buy games won't.
It's not that the graphics are bad, I have played a lot of games with poor graphics and while they would have been nice, didn't prevent me from enjoying the game.
In this case, I don't like the style of the bad graphics.

Not to be anal and off topic, but no, thumbnail does not do that. The images remain the same file size, it's just the webbrowser is told to display them at a smaller physical size. It actually increases download time, as now the browser has to rescale the image on the fly on top of downloading it.Quote:

I'm interested too. Graphics are... unique, but the game sounds cool enough to play. Nice job Atlus, as usual. Plus it's Atlus's first Xbox game, too.

ah atlus, i love them, they seem to have a death-grip on the odd and niche type games.
