Well, CN officially non-renewed the show recently and the "last" episode aired tonight. They say there's still a chance, however, of it returning. In order to further that chance, there is an online petition and letter writing campaign going on.

No matter how minute said chance may be, it needs to be jumped on, so please sign the petition and write a letter (a polite one, that is). I should also point out that CN is behind the non-renewal ("low ratings"). Brendon Small & co. want to keep it going - they've said so themselves.

There is some good news here though - check out http://www.brendonsmall.com/ - they're planning a DVD set and CD. =) About time... though it's not their fault, as you'll read, they've been struggling with rights and such.

Saw the last episode tonight. Great show...it's sad to see it go.

Right when I start liking it, too. I saw this on TVtome the other day, and it bummed me out. I'd love to see it get re-resurrected, and/or get a DVD release.

Yeah, a lot of people are hoping that (if the petition/letters don't do anything) the DVDs will have a Family Guy-type effect where new episodes are ordered again.


And yeah, this is just like what Fox pulled. “Low ratings” and being battered around a few different time slots.

I think Family Guy is a very rare occasion, however. Fox has a lot of money to throw around, and they see another opportunity to make some good money. If Invader Zim sells exceptionally well, first I'd be surprised, but I'd still doubt it would get new episodes.

Oh I've seen that show. I've only seen a handful of episodes. Wasn't impressed.
