But Treasure Land Adventure was Treasure's first project. I'm trying to point that they started as part of Sega Enterprises and developing games for them like any other team.
Checking my Jap Guardian Heroes box, it classifies the game as a "Kakutou RPG", which is related to the vs. fighting games and the RPGs, not the Final Fight type games, if you were thinking of them.
Really doesn't seem plausible. Guardian Heroes was chaos on a regular TV screen, on a portable it'd be nothing but warped pixels everywhere and it just seems weird they'd use a 32 bit Saturn CD game for a potential GBA game before one of their cart efforts. The Treasure crew has always seems very protective of it's titles and downgraded Guardian Heroes (not graphically maybe but musically and lack of video) doesn't sound right. *-neo

Be sure the GBA doesn't have the power to replicate Guardian Heroes' graphics. It's not just a matter of handling sprites.

Treasure aren't _that_ much against sequels. You could argue that Sin & Punishment and Ikaruga take place in the same universes as Alien Soldier and Radiant Silvergun respectively.

What I heard from anyone at its moment is that Treasure started as a Sega group, or thanks to Sega's money, for that matter. That, and the fact that Treasure Land, their first project, could only belong to Sega (I remember you here that you said that every Sega/Treasure game belongs to Treasure), made me think that the IPs belong still to Sega.
