I loved MP, I really dont know why I'm not excited at all for this game. I think Halo 2 and HL2 fill my FPS quota for the rest of the year. Let me know how it is.

Will do.
Just wanted to say that with Halo 2's unsatisfactory SP, and HL2 on postponement for me, MP2 is going to fill that single-player FPS/adventure game hole I'm experiencing. That is, was experiencing until I popped Riddick in for the first time yesterday. But MPrime 2 is differently paced (iff it's like 1), and probably won't leave my GC all day.

You expected more of it?

Everyone I talked to could tell from the screens alone that this was just "more of the same". It had the same basic premise, same graphics, same gameplay, they just added the gimmick (light and dark) which Nintendo has done with ALL of it's sequels on the Gamecube.

Like I said, Nintendo just had Retro slap together a new Prime so the system had SOMETHING major for the holiday season. It's just a new coat of paint on the same old house.

Yet if you read the review the light/dark premise is done very well, and the puzzles/gameplay have been elaborated and bettered now that retro did not have to focus on creating a game from scratch.

Same graphics= the new one apparently looks better.

Well, technically, it's a new house with a a new coat of paint, but a similar house. They're both 2 story Victorians, but of course both are very different.
And it doesn't seem to be slapped together, rather another finely crafted Metroid adventure that took a little while to come out. You can't stop sequels. You might as well say that Microsoft had Bungie slap together another Halo, because that single player experience was balls-awful. Same goes for Vice City.

2 questions:
What would you rather have had from another game in this series?

I can't figure you out. Are you a Nintendo hater, a me hater, a sequel hater, or just generally a giant, belligerent dildo?
