You obviously haven't played it. I'm not even an FPS fan and the most I can say against it is that it's not THE greatest game ever (To me, I'm sure if you hold the genre in higher esteem you could very well see it that way), but it's one of them. What's more, I had a friend over yesterday who also isn't into FPS games. He played it and felt the same way I did. From th very start, you're drawn right into this world. It consumes you.

If you can't see that, you either haven't played it or went in trying to not like it just so you could be the cool, "HL2 is overrated" anti-Diff.

Go back to being banned.

Except we all love Metroid Prime, and I even reviewed it for TNL and gave it an A.

so, what do you think of the sequel then?

I haven't played it because Nintendo sucks.

Hmm, makes sense, its such a long and epic game, its really hard to try it from the start again. The second one has its moments where I felt like turning it off, but only due to the long hours I'd play it in one shot. Still, if you liked Prime, give it a shot.

Well....it is hard to play Prime from the start again. The key is you have to wait a couple of months and then do it. I beat Prime on normal and hard with 100% but I had to take a break for a while first.

After playing Prime the first time during Christmas season, I played some more in Normal until I had 90+ % and then jumped to hard. I'll admit that it is really hard to replay this game immediately, since it's so overjoying to get your suit upgraded and be able to walk and blow up anything on the planet.

I went up to 100% on normal and 98% on hard for Prime. I think I'll just get 100 on Normal (I'm at 85 so far) and just finish Hard. I doubt the ending changes on hard then on Normal.

I've played through Prime about five times. I really, really love it.

I don't see myself going through this nearly as much. So far it's very fun, but I don't think it's quite the game that the first Prime was, and still is.
