Sure thing, and yeah, Prime just nailed it right. Started a new game and remember just about every room so there's no need for the hint system. 1:27 and 20%. :)Quote:

Couple suggestions. First, you know there will be X keys in each area, so once you've found a few, check your logbook to see the key completion % for that area - that'll let you know if there are any more.
Next, you can use the Dark Visor in the Light world to spot the keys. Just correlate your searching with the Dark world rooms, and you can find several of them that way (though not all)
Finally, watch for the dead Keybearers. Surprise, they were carrying keys. You'll find them nearby in the Dark world.
Tips for the 9 keys.
There are the clues you can scan in the temple (9 of them). Most of them have a highlighted word like 'Reactor', 'Cavern', 'Entrance', ect. Those words are the names of the room so look for the rooms with your map. For example for Reactor you'll notice that theres more than one room with Reactor in it however in the clue it says in the dry land or something rather so you know the Reactor room you are looking for is in Agon and I believe it's the Main Reactor, where you fought Dark Samus the first time.
Another thing I learned after having found a few keys accidentally was that I had no idea which keys I had just picked up. Well if you go in your inventory and you can see which keys you picked up. It will tell you who's key the one you are viewing belongs to. Believe me I was confused for a while till I realized each key is identified to belong to someone which eases your search.
I also already posted this but it's worth mentioning. The keys are hidding in an invisible vessel that can only be seen with the dark visor. You can see the vessel in the light world which will facilitate your search in the dark. So with the clues identify the room you need to go to. Then search the room with the dark visor and you will see a red outline of a vessel. Head to the nearest portal than make your way back. Often times you will have destroy or figure your way to the vessel in the dark world since things change and it helps to know exactly where it is.
There are two keys in each world and one of them has 3, can't remember which one. So go to one world and get two keys and move on. I think the temple grounds might be the one with 3 keys.
Good luck,
D
Is there a way to know when you have all the keys from a certain area? I'm up to 4 out of 9, I think I've found 2 in Torvus one in Sanctuary and one accidentally a while ago (forget where)
Don't think so, but I think that there are no more then 3 in each area. The Dark worlds are very small, so it shouldnt be too much of a pain. Try going through one area in and out before hopping to the next one. That way you'll be sure that there's really nothing left there.
I just got this.
The European version is fixed to only run at 60hz, which essentially means that if you don't have a modern/top end TV, you won't be able to play this game. It runs on 1 out of 4 TVs in my house. Nice work Nintendo.
Regardless, this game is awesome. The atmosphere is great, and I love the way Retro have tried to make the universe as plausible as possible by making things work physically and not by "magic", such as the way the elevators work by having a jet booster lift them up and grappling magnets which uncouple to let them freefall down (with a jet boost to brake at the end). I also noticed that one of the moving platforms had a bunch of hydraulic arms with universal joints to lift it :)
The area around the downed Marine Dropshipe was so cool. Viewing the movie, reading all the log books of the Marines, and then exploring the mess was a really great way of develping the story.
Anyone notice that the guy with the cracked visor was a CO and his first initial was A? Could he be Adam?
Just in the Dark World now and killed the Jump Boss. I'm sort of iffy on the whole Dark World thing so far. It broke the whole atmosphere of the Light World by being so "videogamey", like the way those floating light crystals just happen to make a perfect bridge between the light sanctuaries, and the way it constricts exploration.
I'm stuck on the last boss currently, can't even beat his first form
Use the light bean to shoot the tentacles one-by-one...dodging attacks at the same time and collecting energy and light beam ammo. When all the tentacles retract, shoot the opening of the eye with a charged light beam (that's what I used because it homes in pretty quickly and doesn't waste time/shots.)Quote:

You must remember that the Luminoth created the light crystals and beacons for their own use and protection....they had places to go in the dark world. It just happens that you are going to a lot of the same places they were.Quote:
