I got my MP2 demo disc in the mail this morning. I'm gonna try it out when I get home from work later (either that or take a nap!).

the last theme is better.
thanks for the link, though.

I agree, music-wise, what I heard from Halo 2's demo was amazing...
-
Nintendo said mine was on the way back on the 16th... maybe I'll have it, too =D
-
It came in a small padded envelope... no case, just the disc in a plastic sleeve... I was kinda disappointed it was so bare-bones but since it's a demo, I guess it's ok...

Just got the demo in the mail... but I have to go to work =(
Impressions later, probably.

Just played it a bit, I wish I had a case for this like the Zelda Disc. The Timeline is good stuff, and I played about 15 minutes of Echoes. Just seemed like more of the same to me, aside from Dark Aether, which seems pretty cool, but I stopped playing it when I got there. More impressions later.

I also thought the package was barebones, but I can't really complain since it was free. I too liked the timeline, because I wasn't so clear on everything.
I thought the demo was solid, but it's not going to blow people away. I remember a couple of years ago I wasn't very impressed by the metroid prime demo, but it ended up being one of my favorite games of this generation. It's hard to take a game like this and make a demo out of it that gives you a feel of the whole game. But with that said I think fans of the first game will be happy to have a small "teaser" demo of echoes.

I bought a Gamecube because I was bored last week, but I forgot to get a memory card. I started playing Metroid Prime, since it came with the box. I thought the game sucked at first, but I got into it the next day. It's like a simplified System Shock. The combat sucks. Good music. I can see why people liked it. I died at a plant boss a few hours in, and since I didn't have a card, I'd have to start over. I don't want to replay everything I've done already so I think I'm going to return the gamecube and get a Xbox.
