Official Tobal 2 English Patched

I can finally understand Tobal 2?!?!?! SIGN ME UP!!!!!! I played the hell out of the japanese version of this game, without understanding anything (besides what I managed to figure out). I'm totally pumped to play this in english.

I really want to pick this up now. I actually loved Tobal 1 myself, and all I hear is how this completely stomps it.

I think i should really get serious about patching the damn game. I got it around the time the patch first came out, and meant to do it, but never did.

There really isn't a lot of text in the game.

Square would not release it, nor let another company release it when they tried bring it over.

so you got it working, good to see.

I support the idea of translating PSX games.

Here's hoping somebody will do the Genso Suikogaiden games one of these days.

I know, but I remember that a Square representive gave some BS excuse about the game's coding for not being able to localize it.

Well, what can they say?

"Nah, it would cost more than we would make on it so we aren't going to release it"

I'd like to try this... but I have no access to Tobal 2 right now, legal or otherwise. However, seeing more translations like this in the future would make me extremely happy. I wonder if that means we might see the DQIV remake in English someday after all. That would truly be excellent, and like Wily said, I'd like to know what the Suikogaiden stuff was all about.
