Tekken 5

Yes, Nina is definately top tier. Not only can you juggle and combo with her without even breaking a sweat, but a lot of her moves have small to no recovery time, which makes it hard to punish mistakes. Also, she's one of the best pokers in the game which will easily interrupt a lot of the other character's strings. Her poking ability, along with her easy juggling and combo ability makes her one of the best, if not THE best character in the game.

Which makes me wonder why the felt the need to make Anna suck. :(

Because Nina will always be better than Anna.

except for TTT, where Anna > Nina in every possible way.

I beat Ricky Ortiz at TTT back in the day at Gametime. (not in a tournament match, just casual play) He must've gotten better since then.

Depends on the player, some are just so hardcore into fighting games (like yourself), particuarly on the tournament scene that they're compelled to break into the 3D horizon. Arturo Sanchez is a perfect example of someone who I've personally known to play just about ANY fighting game on the market...and being at the very least, an exceptionally formidable player.

On a tangible note, Valle originally started out on the 3D scene, being a highly skilled Tekken player and eventually entered the foray of 2D gaming in which he'd soon become a forced to be reckoned with such players as John Choi, Jason Cole, Jason Wilson and David Sirlin -- to name a few.

Well I had my Tekken 5 fun tonight.

Tonight I used one of my all time fav’s Jin. I’m trying to get back good with him. Back in Tekken Tag I mastered every single one of his moves and he became one of my go to guys, but after tekken 4 came out I had to learn his new set.
Tekken 4 forced me to become good with Steve Fox, but I’ve become un interested in him in this game, and started looking at some other characters such as the new Fang Wei.
Raven is the 2nd character I used tonight. For some reason I’m finding his combo system rather interesting. I think he might be the 2nd character I start mastering.
I’m usually very good using a regular PS2 controller for my fighting games but a lot of my arcade buddies are telling me to invest in a arcade stick. I was wondering if converting styles from controller to arcade stick would be a very steep hill? As in, it would be a big adjustment? I plan to do so either way, I was just wondering.

The transition from controller to arcade stick will be a bit rough at first, but you'll become accustomed to it after a week or two, especially if you play with it everyday.
