I hope it has a lot of references to the first game, as well as some rendition of the main Musashi theme... but I'm not too hopeful at this point.
*wishes he hadn't had to sell Brave Fencer last week :(
I have four hopes
1. Many people are still named after food.
2. Same voice for Musashi.
3. Same gameplay. (if they get rid of teh scrolls and ability stealing, mother fuckers heads are gonna roll.)
4. Similar Music. (I know this one is supposed to be rock like, but that doesn't mean it has to be in all areas and times of day. The original Musashi had great music, I want it back.)
im all over this like a hobo on cheap alcohol
Tsuyoshi Sekito is the man. If he doesn't do the music, then it had better be someone just as good.Quote:

I can't wait to get some story and town and inventory management elements in it. This game will be awesome.
Can I go a whole section without saying Awesome? Apparently not, and that's Awesome in itself.
Did it feel like a sequel to Brave Fencer? Was the new style at all bothersome?
Sounds good based on your impressions, which is nice to hear.
Ok, it controlls a little diferent than old musashi, like more like Kingdom Hearts but with a good camera and the Musashi move set, if that makes any sense. The new style doesn't take long to get used to either, it fits really well and looks fucking great. And even though I coudn't do it in the demo, it is confirmed that the ability stealing will again return. So yeah, it defenately feels like a sequal even with what little they showed so far.
The thing is there wasn't an items menu, towns, or voice acting yet, so you know those are going to make it feel even more like musashi again. I don't know if there are other things from the first game like time passage (night into day, days of the week), scroll abilities, toy collection, the little fat rabbit things that spit out the berries, but I wouldn't be suprised in the least, since almost all the original team is back.
Trust me, this will be most choice when it comes out, if you have the means, I highly suggest getting a copy.
Damn,This was one of the games I never expected to get sequel for. Excellent news. Original Musashi was cool, and I definately want more.
