That's pretty much the same way I'm looking at this game too: If the multiplayer is awesome, great. If not, well, at least the single player is still incredible. Either way it's a solid purchase.

IGN said it's "bleeped to be funnier." I don't see how that makes it funnier. I know this is not news that it's censored, just the fact that people would actually say it's a good thing in a review (I know, I know... it's IGN). Personally, with the exclusion of sections from the original game, the censorship, and the multiplayer only being one game mode instead of many, I'll be passing on this... at least for now.

I never played the original Conker on 64, but fart and piss jokes don't do it for me. Maybe some masterbatory references or possibly some recent pop culture remarks, but grabbing your crotch and bleeping out the word "fuck" does not make me laugh.

Regardless, I'm getting this game today.

I adore the original Conker, I adored almost everything Rare did on N64, but come on! It's been how many years now since the huge announcement that they were leaving Nintendo, and what does MS have to show for it? The announcement came around when Xbox launched and so far we've got.......Grabbed by the Ghoulies. Xbox 360 is about to launch and we finally get another game......and it's a remake of a not even 5 year old N64 game! How many console games has Rare made since Conker, like 2?

If this were a Conker sequel I would be all over it, or if Conker was an ancient game that really needed a remake maybe, I just don't understand this. With all the work that's gone into this game why not just design new levels and make a new game?

I'd never played it on N64, so this is all new to me, but it loads like every other room, and it's annoying.

I still don't understand what makes Conker funny.
