That's a tough question. I would feel the same if Splinter Cell was attached to it. I guess my point is that only two series have gotten the genre right. If something came out of the blue and looked and played just like MGA, I would still like it.

I'll say this, I think I'll skip MGS2 and get either a slimline PS2 and Snake Eater or Twin Snakes for GC. Dunno when I will get Ac!D. I think Lumines or Twisted Metal are my next picks for PSP but we'll see.

Thanks, that helps me out a little more. Anyways, I have little to no experience with the card/board game genre outside of one night with Mario Party 6 at a friend's house, so what do I know? :p But I'm playing Advance Wars right now, does that give me a right to question the game? :(

There is absolutely zero chance that any Twisted Metal game will ever be better than any Metal Gear game. You have to already have Ridge Racer, so WipeOut is at least somewhat redundant. Get Acid.

I know it's lame, but Twisted is just so darn tempting because of that online mode. I wanna go online with the police car and make a tag named "Officer Cracker McWhiteykins." :D

Pure over Ridge Racer? You lose.

If this game wasn't Metal Gear, I would still like it, but probably not as much. The gameplay is fun, but the fact that it's Metal Gear definately adds something to it.

You need to fucking stop that train of thought this instance. You got Pure over RR so that's a point in my book (I like RR, just wanted Pure) but the fact that you even consider Twisted Metal over this fine piece of software, somebody should beat your face in. Also, I'm no master strategist, but I've only died ONCE in 5 hours on MGA, so that jackass reviewer over at IGN is a fucking turd.
