It also looks like Chicago from THPS4/Hoffman2 is in there as well, which is cool since I love that level. I would've loved to of gotten shipyard as well, that level would be nuts with all the new thug physics.

Honestly, I am not too pumped for this game after seeing all the new updates Activision is making. Projectile throwing and slow motion seem especially worthless and gimmicky. After the big jump from THPS4 to THUG, I expected a similar leap in THUG2, but right now this game is on pace to go as far as a crippled kid doing the long jump in the Special Olympics.
I tend to agree with Weeman.
Hopefully it will be good - but at this point I'd be just as content to spend some more time playing THUG1 instead of buying this for full price on release.
Bad news, folks.
Read the October issue of EGM, where one of the people at Neversoft has said, once again, there will be NO Xbox Live play whatsoever. That they want to "improve on what they have", which is ps2 online, and that "maybe next time we'll be able to add Xbox Live".
Looks I'll be waiting for this to get a pricedrop, and a big fuck you goes out to Neversoft.
I'm not really excited about this game right off the bat anyway, I more want to play it when nothing else decent is left for me to play. I waited to play THUG untill about half a year after it came out, this one will probably be no exeption.
I holding out getting this until TRU's 2/1 sale.
Here is a list of the songs on the soundtrack for those interested.
I wasn't all that hyped about THUG last year (don't know why, it just didn't click with me) but I'm foaming at the mouth for this one. Online play isn't a big deal for me, I've never had a whole lot of fun with it. I forgot this was comming out so soon and I'm kinda glad. It's nice to be suprised with something this good.
And big props for throwing Sinatra on the soundtrack.
That soundtrack is crazy. From Metallica to Sinatra! ! :)
I gave up on Tony Hawk online. I just couldnt hold a candle to most of the players online. I didnt really like Thug much but I'm interested in the classic mode in Thug 2. I like having the specfic goals to be done in 2 minutes.
Ouch. I feel the same way. What a god-damn killjoy. That was one of the biggest reasons for me to get THUG 2 since none of the new additions seem all that interesting. I've got too many games right now, so I guess they won't be getting my money for a long while.Quote:
