I went to a neighbors garage sale awhile ago, and they had a Genesis version2 with a Genesis 32X add on, with NBA JAM 32X edition and After Burner, and Two giant Genesis arcade controllers, and about ten genesis games. All For $10...I sold one of those JoySticks for $10 on its own... :sonic:

Most garage sales I've been to, have been nothing but clothes, bad art and lamps. I've given up on the hopes of finding anything worthy at garage sales.
I bought Earnest Evans for $1 at a flea market.

Bought a Sega CDX at a garage sale that one of my friends area was holding...it was perfect...(No box on manuals but who cares) 2 6 button controllers, Streetfighter II champion edition and Streets of Rage 1 and 2 for $40 CND (Thats right CANADIAN, thats like $5 US :p )
Good deal, I prefer Goodwill and Pawn stores I've found Complete SNES Chrono Trigger for $2 and Valkyrie profile new shape $8 and imports oddly too.Quote:

I found Final Fantasy 3 mint w/ map for $10 canadian, MUSHA for $5usd and Pirates Gold complete ....some guy wanted to trade it back when Dreamcast and its games were very very cheap...so I traded Blue Stinger for Pirates :-P
I've been pretty successful with tag sales and flea markets. Some of my best finds are:
a Vectrex with 9 games and overlays for $5
20 or so Vectrex games, a Vectrex light pen, all three light pen games, and several overlays and manuals for $5
Donkey Kong arcade machine for $20 (not in very good condition at all, but it plays fine)
35 or so Genesis games (several boxed) and several Genesis consoles for $10 (the ironic thing is that I was visiting my grandparents' at the time, and I didn't bring a Genesis, and the box only had Genesis 1 hookups and a Genesis 2 power supply, so I couldn't play any of it for a few days)
Final Fight CD complete with beaten box $5
15 NES games and 30 or so Atari 2600 games including Star Wars: Jedi Arena for $10 (SW:JA is worth that much alone)
That's all I can think of for now, but I'll post more later if I can think of anything else.
I never seem to find good deals, no matter how hard I look. However, my friend is quite talented at finding insanely good deals (its the only thing he is good for).
He once found an Odyssey 2 (with box and manuals), 12 O2 games, an unopened Pikachu N64 and Two Crude Dudes for Genny all for $30!!!
