So... was virtua fighter: cyber generation playable at E3?

Apparantly, it looks and plays like an updated RAH No. 1, which has me quite hyped.

it's not bad. the demo they had literally had just about every single last thing taken out.

the game still has potential i think. i mean, really, all the game is is a btea em up, that let's you do moves from the VF series. really, i'd still keep an eye on this one, the demo at the sow literally had everything taken out. all you could do was punch, jump, kick, and wall run. all that super combo stuff, and grapling hook thing was gone. not to mention that there was only one move from the VF series in the demo.

oh, and is Amazing Island is totally not being developed at digialRex. Hitmaker is making that. c'mon now, digitalRex is in charge of cinematic games remember?

The game isn't made for VF fans really. It's made to bring more people into the VF series. Will the elements that tie it to VF be dumbed down and simplified? Yes. Does that make it a bad game? No.

I have high hopes for the game. Granted I dont like the visual style of it very much, but the video makes it look damn fun.

what's been dumbed down?

i had some trouble pulling off some of Akira's moves just because there's no D-Pad support. by the way, they really need to do something about that. cause it's just gonna be way to hard to pull off certain moves without one.

I was under the impression that the moves have been made easier to pull off. Less button presses and not as strict timing. Guess Im wrong?

Quick summary of VQ: Kingdom Hearts with less retarded combat.

I thought it was pretty decent looking.
