I'm well aware of that. Hence the intended irony of my post. ;)Quote:

What was wrong with the metal slug game for XB?
Can't wait, the game looks really amazing in motion.
I'm going to venture a guess and say it's a 2d run and gun, that while it's awesome, is not innovative and many gamers will get bored of it fast.Quote:

I bet this'll play great, but I don't really like the graphical style from stills, but I haven't seen it in action yet. Heh, had no problem with their console titles, but I had a big issue with the graphics in their Bionic Commando, too.
That aside, it was a hell of a fun game, so I have no reason to doubt this will be. Looking forward to trying it.
You'd be surprised. It does look rather stange/un-Mario-like from stills, and in fact it is pretty un-Mario-like for a 2d game --but that's because his character model and animations are almost exactly like Mario 64's believe it or not, much like how the new Mario sidescroller looks for the DS, but with sprites. It really looks impressive.
I watched the video at the official website now, and it kind of surprised me. The shots didn't seem to illustrate much about how the game plays, it looks pretty varied and fun. Assuming I have a job soon, this'll be one to grab as soon as I can.
