Maniac Mansion Deluxe
A lucasarts fansite, dedicated to remaking classic Lucasarts point-and-click games released their remake of the classic game Maniac Mansion last night
http://people.freenet.de/lucasfangam.../games_eng.htm
Essentially, it's the exact same game only with greatly enhanced graphics (Still sprite based) and featuring the UI and soundwork of Day of the Tentacle. I haven't made my way through it yet, but I was pretty impressed with the 30 minutes or so that I played. It's really just a straight up port but very clean looking.
If you've never played Maniac Mansion (And shame on you) now is your time.

nice work, sl1p.)

YES!
Downloading now.
The best part is, I think I forgot how to get through this game, so this should be great.

Zak McKraken's there, too. Never did play it.
Downloading them now.

I played it. It's interesting.

Seems not, Takumi. Not that I saw.

Ah, that age old Mac question. Still going strong after all these years.

Meh. Looks like a 1992 shareware game. They need a real pixel artist. If you the only way you can shade in 256 colors is to use the gradiant tool on EVERYTHING, you really shouldn't be doing this.
