anyone still play with thier Super Nintendo?

after kicking my self in the ass for selling my SNES and all it's games years ago, i decided to got hunting for a SNES system(a new one if available). Walked into some local videogames store and found a brand new SNES system for around $30(box was banged up pretty badly). took my baby home and kept it in my closet since i wasnt bothered to hook it up at that time. looking through the closet what do i find in a red plastic bag? ...8 SNES GAMES I DIDNT KNOW I HAD! lol

anyways, i was wondering if they made an S-VHS cable for the SNES, the guy at the store said they didnt, but when i checked my Gamecube it turned out that the GC S-VHS cable also fits the SNES. interesting stuff indeed.

now i gotta buy all the classics i miss playing so much, here are a few i'm going to buy(used ofcourse)

I just got mine back. Enjoying Uniracers and Mario Kart for now.

I'm waiting for Space MegaForce and Axelay.

Yeah, the SNES via s-video looks great. :tu: I tried to go back to composite once and just couldn't stand how blurry everything looked by comparison.

I play the SNES pretty often... Keep it hooked up right next to the GameCube. Actually, that's the reason I still have my GameCube running via s-video, because that way I can swap the s-video cables between them easily. That and because I have my Xbox, PS2, and DVD player already taking up all my component switcher slots.

There's still a few SNES RPG's I want to play, as well as shooters I haven't spent enough time with, like Axelay. Need to pick up Space Megaforce one of these days too, as it's the pseudo-sequel to my favorite, Blazing Lazers.

I play it probably ever other week or so. And I cry because I'm so bad at SNES games these days.

btw, get the Pelican swtich box, i just got mine and it works great, i hooked up my xbox, Dreamcast, SNES, Gamecube, DVD and PS2 all throught it. it also works as a broadband hub! :cool:

btw, anyone knows where i can find Dreamcast component cables?

Every couple of months I bust out the ole SNES.

Play some Pilotwings, Marios, Yoshis, Castlevania, Contra, and whatever else strikes my fancy.

I haven't played any games on mine for a while, but I do enjoy slamming the eject button to see how high that Ms. Pac-Man cart will pop out.

Not in a while, too many other games I need to play right now :p... though I will eventually jump back on a finish Terranigma :)

I play Gun Hazard, The Firemen, Super PunchOut!! and Yoshi's Island occasionaly.

SNES? Hell yeah. Super Punchout!! among others.
